Ann Arbor Downtown Public Planning Workshops:
Ann Arbor residents, mark your calendars for March 12-14! Join city officials and the Downtown Development Authority at the Ann Arbor District Library’s downtown branch to help shape downtown Ann Arbor’s future. City officials will conduct workshops to share project details and gather public feedback. Topics include land use, sustainability, equity, and transportation.
The workshops will review the Ann Arbor Comprehensive Plan, which outlines city land use, public spending, and policy changes for the next 25 years. Additionally, the sessions will cover the Downtown Area Circulation Study. The study, organized in partnership with the DDA, will influence transportation projects, downtown’s bicycle network, transit priorities, two-way restoration projects, and pedestrian-oriented streets.
The open-house workshops will take place at 343 S. Fifth Ave. at the following times:
- 4-7:30 p.m. March 12 with a kickoff presentation at 6 p.m.
- 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 13
- 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 14
- 4-7:30 p.m. March 14 with a wrap-up presentation at 6 p.m.
Anyone can attend the workshops, though the city encourages people to RSVP.
