Our relationship with our clients does not end at closing.
Each fall The Piper Partners Team holds a client appreciation event at Andy Piper’s home in Ann Arbor to honor the clients we have worked with during the year. It’s a casual get together and a chance for us to get to know each other a little better and continue building long-term relationships.
While we know that everyone is super busy and may not have time to spend their Sunday before Thanksgiving with us, we still had more than 20 people attend. Thanks to all of you who came over! It was a beautiful fall day, we had fresh donuts and cider from the Dexter Cider Mill and we shared a few great stories. For those of you who could not make it, you were missed.
A big shout out to the Elegant Farmer who made the pies for our clients to take home and to Jay Jollay, the farmer in Coloma, MI who supplies these pies. Jollay Orchards is a multi-generational farm that has been perfecting the art of growing fruit in Western Michigan since 1857! Jay is the only person I know who has these pies and they are worth the drive. While they are closed for the season, Jay pulled an order for me from the freezer and had them waiting.
Also, a special thanks to a few of our real estate business partners who make our job easier and allow to get the job done for our clients – Jeff Fletcher with Fletcher Home Inspections, Mary Adams with New American Funding, John Simpkins of Level One Bank, Peter Staton for Concept Insurance and many more!
We especially appreciate the small business people and entrepreneurs who help our clients and count on us to help grow their business. For example, Pete Bolen of Bolen Flooring, Trevor Hayward with Brush-Rite Painting and Grisel Romero’s cleaning services, among many. Thanks for always being available even on very short notice!
A few hours after the event, I received a note from Jeff Fletcher. Jeff said “We decided today was Pie day. My mom says it’s the best apple she has ever had except her own homemade.” and he sent over this fine picture of his family eating pie. This is what a good pie is for!
